The Mask of Hiroshima

In 2013 we presented The Mask of Hiroshima by Ernest Ferlita. This wonderful show is set seven years after the bombing of Hiroshima during World War II, the play's focus on a couple, Shinji and Hisa Ishikawa, who are expecting a baby, but both still wear the mask that the atomic bomb molded to body and soul. Because the effects of the radiation threaten Hisa's life, her father urges an abortion but do the couple chooses to have faith as they try to live out their belief that God can make all things new.
